Premiership Women's Rugby

Premiership Women's Rugby is England's top club league, with nine clubs: Bristol Bears, Exeter Chiefs, Gloucester-Hartpury, Harlequins, Leicester Tigers, Loughborough Lightning, Sale Sharks, Saracens and Trailfinders. Saracens are the 2025-26 champions.

Most of England's Red Roses play here, and so do many of Canada's national team: eleven Canadians were picked for June's final.

UK television for 2026-27 has not been confirmed to us yet, and we have found no US or Canadian carriage. DubSports adds where to watch the day a broadcaster publishes its schedule.

The season opens with the PWR Cup, from September 19 to November 7: two pools of five and four clubs, each club playing the others in its pool once, then semi-finals that cross the pools and a final. The Cup has its own page and does not count in the league table.

The league opens on Friday, November 20: 18 rounds, each club playing the other eight home and away, with two bye weekends each.

The league pauses after round 16 on March 27 for the Women's Six Nations, then resumes on May 29 for the last two rounds.

A win earns 4 points and a draw 2, plus bonus points: one for scoring four or more tries, and one for losing by seven points or fewer.
