World Rugby

World Rugby is the sport's governing body, and on DubSports it is the home of women's international rugby. It is a calendar of national-team competitions through the year, not one season with one table. Each country's team lives here once, so following the USA or Canada carries across every competition it plays.

The calendar: the WXV Global Series runs from September 12 to October 31, 2026. The Women's Six Nations follows in the spring of 2027 (England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales, from April 10), then the Pacific Four Series in April (Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA). The next Women's Rugby World Cup is in 2029.

Where to watch depends on where you are, and rights are sold match by match. In the US, Paramount+ streams every USA match (its World Rugby deal runs through 2029) and picks other Global Series matches week by week. For the 2026 Global Series, TSN carries Canada's matches in Canada, the BBC and the home unions' own channels carry matches in the UK, and RugbyPass TV, free with an account, streams the rest in the US, Canada, the UK and much of the world.

Rugby union is 15 a side, over two halves of 40 minutes. A try is worth 5 points, the conversion kick after it 2, a penalty goal 3 and a drop goal 3. A draw is a real result.

In a competition with a table, a win earns 4 points and a draw 2, plus bonus points: one for scoring four or more tries, and one for losing by seven points or fewer.

The WXV Global Series is twelve national teams playing Test matches home and away, mostly as short tours, four to six matches each. There is no table and no champion: every match stands on its own, and results feed the World Rugby rankings. The format is set for 2026 to 2028.

The Six Nations is a round robin with one table, and the Pacific Four Series is a round robin between Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA.
