Playoffs
Format
- Eight clubs: the top four of each second-round group.
- Play-ins, best of three games: first in one group plays second in the other, and third plays fourth. The higher-placed club has home court.
- The clubs that win a first-against-second series go straight to the semifinals. The clubs that lose one drop to the quarterfinals, where each meets the winner of a third-against-fourth series.
- From the quarterfinals on, one game decides each round, through the third place game and the final.
Who gets in
First and second place in each group cross over for the semifinal play-ins. The two winners go straight to the Final Six semifinals. The two losers drop to the quarterfinals.
Third and fourth place cross over for the quarterfinal play-ins. The two winners reach the Final Six quarterfinals and the losers are out.
Fifth and sixth place in each second-round group are eliminated.
Seeding
Each quarterfinal pairs a club that lost a semifinal play-in with a club that won a quarterfinal play-in. The winner meets a semifinal play-in winner two days later.
