Format

• Eight teams make the Walter Cup Playoffs: the top four in each conference.
• The first round is four best-of-three series, two in each conference.
• The first-place team in each conference chooses its first-round opponent from the third-place and fourth-place teams. The second-place team plays the other.
• The conference finals are best of five.
• The two conference champions play the Walter Cup Finals, best of five.
